Google user data we access and how we use it

• For sign-in, we access the user's Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile image to create and authenticate the Shorti Studio account.
• We request the YouTube upload permission only when the user chooses to link YouTube publishing.
• That permission is used to upload the user's selected Shorts, titles, descriptions, and visibility setting to the user's YouTube channel. We do not use it to read the user's YouTube library.
• We store the Google account identifier and OAuth credentials needed to keep the authorized sign-in and YouTube publishing features working.

How Google user data is shared

• We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own purposes.
• Google and YouTube receive the video and metadata that the user directs Shorti Studio to publish.
• Our cloud hosting, database, storage, security, and logging providers may process limited data only to operate and protect Shorti Studio on our behalf.
• We may disclose data when required by law or when necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident.

How Google user data is protected

• Google user data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and protected at rest by our managed cloud infrastructure.
• Access is restricted to authorized application services and personnel who need it to operate, support, or secure the service.
• OAuth credentials are not used for advertising, resale, or unrelated background processing.

Retention, deletion, and user control

• We retain Google account information while the Shorti Studio account remains active and retain YouTube OAuth credentials only while YouTube publishing is connected.
• Disconnecting YouTube in Shorti Studio deletes the stored YouTube publishing connection and OAuth credentials from active app storage.
• Users can delete their Shorti Studio account from the Account page. We delete stored Google credentials and de-identify the Google profile data associated with the account.
• Soft-deleted project and transaction records may remain in restricted storage where needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, investigations, or legal obligations.
• Published videos remain in the user's YouTube account until the user manages or deletes them on YouTube.
• Google permissions can be managed at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Residual copies in managed backups and security logs expire according to our providers' normal retention schedules.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Shorti Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and analytics

• We use essential cookies and storage to keep sign-in, billing, security, and product preferences working.
• Optional analytics help us understand product usage, user interactions, and service performance.
• Analytics are disabled unless the user accepts analytics cookies. If the user rejects them, analytics stay off.

Other service data

• We store account details, project settings, source links or uploads, generated clips, and export metadata needed to operate the product.
• We may store billing status, operational logs, and error data needed to run, secure, and improve the service.
